L’Artisane Creative Bakery

The first French vegan bakery in the United States serves pastries and desserts made with fair trade ingredients and vegan sugar. Some of the delicious items that can be found on their menu are – flakey croissants, strawberry tartlets, bonbons, raspberry mousse, pain au chocolat and brownies to name a few. Their vast variety doesn’t stop at desserts, they also offer sandwiches, wholesome salads and their already famous Beyond Burger. The concept of vegan French pastries grew on chef Carolina Molea, trained by Le Cordon Bleu, since she first set foot in France at age 15. “With every trip to France, my love grew fonder and my dream started to take shape”, Molea as she told VegNews. Bunnie Cakes

This pretty, pink, happy bakery with colored sprinkles everywhere started out as a mom who baked cupcakes for her eldest son, Luke. As an 18-month old he had a speech delay and was already allergic to dairy, so his mom did a bit of research and stumbled upon a Casein free diet. She didn’t know much about gluten-free baking. She looked for places to help her, but at the time there weren’t as many vegan stores as there are today. Knowing that there is a need for vegan baked goods, she called her grandmother up for some cake recipes that she later transformed into vegan cupcake recipes. She started selling samples of her cupcakes to many restaurants in her off time and that is when Bunnie Cakes began to thrive.

Owner, Gaby, loved to make sweet treats and baked sweet goods for his friends and family for many years before he started making delicious gluten-free and vegan desserts. His stepson was diagnosed with celiac disease and since then he has been determined to make desserts that his stepson can eat. Gaby has a passion to show people just how lovely gluten-free and vegan desserts can taste. Sweet Chemistry Baking Co serves baked goods that are made up of simple ingredients, but the love and talent that goes into the desserts is what sets it apart from other dessert stores.
