guys' weekend agenda in Miami, and don't expect to sleep much.

Where to Stay

W Hotel South Beach. This resort, like the rest of the Starwood properties, is really attractive, well kept, and not too old, so you'll be receiving current design. The pool area is pleasant, and the restaurants are excellent.

FontaineBleau. This multibillion-dollar resort will not disappoint, especially after its $1 billion+ refurbishment. You can virtually do everything without leaving the hotel premises, whether you want a cabana at one of their three pools or a fantastic meal at one of their 5+ restaurants.

Delano. In Miami Beach, you won't find a prettier pool or beach grounds. Although a little more expensive than other hotels, this is a celebrity favorite and well worth the extra money.

Where to Eat

Big Pink is the best place to go for brunch in Miami Beach. Their menu is broad, and the quantities are generous, making it ideal for hangover recovery. If you arrive between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on weekends, expect to wait in a long line. Breakfast burrito, crab cake benedict, buffalo chicken tenders, waffle burger, pink daddy mac, and fried chicken sliders are some of the favorites. Make sure your meal includes a bucket of fries.

Prime Italian, Prime112, Prime Fish

Myles Chefetz, a well-known restaurateur, runs this chain of gourmet dining venues. All three restaurants specialize in a certain cuisine, such as Italian, steak, or fish. Make sure your camera phone is charged and ready to go because this is a celebrity hotspot. Very expensive, but very good.

Komodo Miami, which is located off the shore, is also a good dining option. Just keep in mind that a lyft journey to downtown will take you 20 minutes each way. It's the minds behind China Grille and Miami Marketing Group, which owns Liv and Story, that you should know about.

You could also take the South Beach Arts and Culinary Tour, which brings you through art galleries, museums, and ends with a delectable 3-course feast made by a famous chef.

Things to Do

When visiting Saturday Pool Party at Hyde Beach, you’ll be submerged in a pool party with booze and beautiful women. You may even get sprayed by a bottle of champagne while you swim. If you’re a little more low key than that, Nikki Beach is a great alternative. It’s less intense, but still allows for a Miami party vibe.

If you’d rather spend your day relaxing you can opt for lying on the beach, or taking a Segway tour through the city. Don’t worry, they’ll provide you with a quick intro on how to not bust your butt before they send you off! Or go above and beyond, literally, with a private airplane tour. They generally last a half an hour and will introduce you to some of the most amazing views around.

Now let’s get back to the nightlife. E11Even is a place where all your dreams can come true, from the food, to the sports bar. This venue offers it all in one place. LIV Nightclub is known to be the most popular club in the area. The line may be out the door, but it’s well worth the wait once you gain access to two floors of beautiful women.

Story, which is correlated with LIV Nightclub, also has two levels, and used to be the home of the Opium Gardens. Similar vibes, but different location. Club Space is the after hours place to be. This is where you can head after last call, and continue to party until sunrise, or even later since they stay open until noon the following day.
