Born and raised in the small town of Saint Marc in Haiti, Kiki Barth was only 13 years old when she and her father moved to the U.S to start a new life. She’s a perfect example of how hard work and perseverance can pave a way despite all odds being stacked against you. Kiki Barth is a beautiful Haitian woman who has pride in her heritage and walks with her head held high.

Even though she is in America making big moves and making a name for herself, Kiki is very passionate about where she is from. She recognizes the need to give back and help young ones ascend to great heights, so she created a non-profit organization called Kiki’s Kids Foundation. Kiki quotes, “the goal of the foundation is to create content that educates, informs, and inspires the young minds of the kids in Haiti. To realize that they can dream and through hard work be able to obtain those dreams.” She is in a very great position to inspire others because she was able to achieve success despite all the obstacles and unfavorable conditions she has had to grapple with growing up.

Kiki started a modeling career at 16 after her stepmother threw her out of the house at the age of 15. At the time she could barely speak English, which undoubtedly made navigating and relating to others quite arduous; however, she was not deterred by these unpalatable circumstances. Kiki says, “I had to think on my feet, adapt, and figure out how to survive.” She worked at fast food restaurants trying to make ends meet while nursing her little one and working towards her dream of becoming a model.
