Retail Therapy: Hot Spots
to Shop in Miami Â
There are so many malls and shopping plazas, you can spend your entire life in the city and you still won’t be able to visit each and every single one of them. If you’re one of those people who just can’t go a day without shopping, or just need a little retail therapy, we’ve narrowed down your option to some of Miami’s finest.
The Alchemist
The Alchemist is undoubtedly Miami’s finest and most beautiful places to shop. The shop has brands like Margiela, Off-White, Vetements, Mastermind, Chrome Hearts, and many others. Erika and Roma Cohen, the brains behind Alchemist, also launched their own clothing line. Celebrities like Travis Scott and Jay-Z were seen sporting shirts that had the logo of Alchemist printed on them. When in Rome (i.e., Miami), The Alchemist is the first place where you should go.
Bal Harbour Shops
This open-air mall in the Bal Harbour neighborhood of Miami is a favorite shopping destination for socialites and celebrities. It has brands like Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Saint Laurent, Chanel, along with many others. The mall also has some really great restaurants. Makoto is a Japanese restaurant at the mall that has some of the best Asian food in the country and there’s also Le Zoo, one of the most stylish French restaurants in Miami.
Dolphin Mall
Dolphin Mall is one of the largest malls in Miami-Dade County. The mall has over 240 retail outlets and it has something for everyone. There are fashion stores like Forever 21, Banana Republic, Cotton On, Calvin Klein, Quicksilver, and there are also other kinds of stores like Sports Authority, Motherhood Maternity, Bass Pro Shops, and Sam Ash Music.
Bird Road
Bird Road has some of the most interesting shops Miami can offer. Looking for something vintage? There’s a shop near Bird Road called Miami Twice that offers vintage and modern vintage items. There’s also a huge comic book store called A&M Comics. They have everything from graphic novels, comic books, used books, to vinyls, action figures, and other collectible items.
There are lots of other unique shops near Bird Road so you should go check them out if you’re in the mood for something different.
The Webster
The Webster is a boutique that offers high-end designer clothes from brands like Gucci, Heron Preston, La Double J, Chanel, Dior, Celine, and many others. If you want to feel like a celebrity and wear expensive clothes, this is where you should be headed. Just make sure your wallet is full when you go to The Webster because everything there has an expensive price tag!
