Miami Music & Fashion: The Ultimate Guide to Miami's Music Festival Wardrobe
Needless to say, when it comes to music festivals in Miami (namely Ultra, Rolling Loud and III Points) we take it seriously, and the outfits....next level status. The most important factor to consider when dressing for these festivals is that you can dance all day and night comfortably. These are definitely music-heavy festivals, so you'll be on your feet for the majority of the time. Most importantly, The energy in Miami is always high, but the weather doesn't always cooperate with the city's outdoor events, including Ultra. To stay one step ahead of the forecast, it is highly recommended to dress in layers that you can easily add or subtract depending on the weather.
Ultra
With Ultra being a festival cornerstone over the last two decades, the fashion in this vibrant Miami Music festival has reflected the latest fashion trends of the dance music scene — from wide-leg JNCO pants in the 1990s to candy ravers in the 2000s and the pasties-and-hot shorts look of today. With the addition of the RESISTANCE stage to the Ultra family (placing emphasis on underground electronic musicians), we're starting to see an incorporation of the unbiased fashion scene with dark techno vibes.

Make sure you're completely comfortable with a pair of rave shoes, such as some trendy sneakers. Combat boots or thigh-high boots with a small platform are also acceptable. When it comes to Ultra, there are a few looks you can rock.

III Points
Founded in 2013, III Points is distinct "because music isn't our only focus," explains co-founder Erica Freshman. Erica further explains that they "We pay attention to the small details that elevate the overall experience, in addition to the diverse lineup. Fashion is an important part of the immersive experience, and III Points attendees favor daring, one-of-a-kind looks. It's not uncommon to see one attendee wearing a tulle skirt and bomber jacket while another is lounging in a Rugrats tee and distressed denim. The idea is to create a space where people feel free to express themselves in all ways. "Every year, our attendees are very receptive to this and always show up in cool and unique attire" says Erica. It's no surprise that festival-goers at III Points get creative.
Rolling Loud
Since Rolling Loud isn't the kind of music festival that welcomes flower crowns and tie-dyed tank tops; it's the kind of event where you put on your best throwback jersey, pile on all of your logo-ed-out grails, lace into some box-fresh kicks, and top it all off with the most daring accessories money can buy. You can dress it down with a t-shirt or dress it up with a polo or a suit jacket. Joggers or sweatpants are another great option to have on hand. These are typically comfortable and ideal for working out or casual wear. Try chino pants if you want to look a little more stylish.
