The fashion industry is one with many dramas, and it has not failed to live up to the hype for many years now. The recent trend boding as the fashion industry's future is the use of virtual models, also known as CGI's -computer-generated imagery.

These CGI's are a collection of made-up faces that have become more and more in use for high fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Dior, and other important brands. These CGI models are very genuine with great facial expressions and other human-like attributes like skin pore texture and shining eyes, all seen through a screen.

This trend is moving so fast that with most of these CGI models in many designer brands, they are gaining a massive following on social media, where they are even seen as influencers. One of the most popular CGI models is Lil Miquela, with over two million followers and coverage on brands like Calvin Klein and Prada. CGI model charges about $8,000 per paid Instagram post.

With many CGI models taking the forefront of the modeling industry, many human models fear that the industry would soon be filled with these models, leaving them with nothing to do. With many models working their entire careers, hoping to book campaigns, the future does not look bright for them in this industry.

Even with CGI models as a new trend in the industry, it is safe to say that the industry's direction is still unknown. However, if there is one thing we know about innovations, it is the fact that they have come to say. Soon enough, with many of these CGI influencers hitting the market, we can rightfully say that the industry is going to be overrun

with them.
